Ukrainian Community in Ottawa marks 3rd Year of full-scale invasion to Ukraine

For three years, Ukrainians have courageously and heroically defended their country and the freedom of Europe from Russia’s genocidal war.

The Russians thought they were embarking on a war of conquest that would last three days. Instead, three years later, Ukraine stands. Kyiv, the capital, is free. The Ukrainian people stand united in defiance to Russian tyranny. And we Stand With Ukraine!

1000 Days of War in Ukraine: We Remember, We Fight, We Support

It has been 1000 days since Ukraine and its people began their heroic resistance against brutal aggression. We gathered together not only to honor the memory of the victims but also to continue supporting those who are still fighting. This event served as an important reminder that our support doesn’t stop at moments of gathering—we stand with Ukraine every day.

The event featured bell chimes and sound visualizations, allowing everyone to experience the sounds of war—a way to feel and understand that the fight is ongoing, every minute of every day.

A special thanks to our partners: Russian Embassy Protestors and Maple Hope Foundation, as well as everyone who joined the event: our speakers, volunteers, and all those who continue to support Ukraine during these challenging times. Let this day remind us that our unity is the strength that brings victory closer.

🇺🇦 Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes! Memory eternal to all victims of this war!

Ukrainian Independence Day Picnic in Ottawa

The picnic for Ukraine's Independence Day in Ottawa became a vibrant event that brought together Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine. This celebration reminded us of our resilience, culture, and the importance of community unity even far from our homeland.

One of the most touching moments was the unfolding of a 30-meter Ukrainian flag, symbolizing our solidarity and support for independence. The event was also filled with music, traditional cuisine, children's activities, and an opportunity for guests to socialize and strengthen connections.

Such events demonstrate our strength, unity, and desire to support Ukraine. Thanks to everyone who joined us, and we invite you to follow announcements of future events! 💙💛
